I can empathize with your challenge of finding competent medical help. I actually became disabled at age 50 unnecessarily for the same type of reception you experienced with mainstream medical doctors. I ended up giving myself a medical education, self-diagnosed and then sought out doctors with the will and knowledge to help me get well again. The search is on-going still after nine years. I blog at http://doctorblue.wordpress.com. In 2010 I started getting the help I needed (ongoing) and I’m waiting to see what transpires before committing my views to paper. It’s been a struggle and here in the U.S. cost me everything I had.
